If you are visiting the Shannon region and have limited time to spare there is no better way to take in all the sights than by touring by car. Just a few kilometers north again lie the Cliffs of Moher, arguably providing the most stunning scenery on the West coast of Ireland. The Shannon region isn’t just about its beautiful coastline, it offers some beautiful scenery inland as well. The beautiful Burren is one of the most distinctive landscapes in Ireland and can comfortably be explored by car in a day while you also take in such towns as Fanore and Lisdoonvarna.
