In recent times County Meath has become part of the commuter belt to Dublin City, but the county still has a strong tradition in farming with some of the best grazing land in Ireland. The county is situated to the East of Ireland and forms part of the province of Leinster. Due to the numbers now living in the commuter belt, County Meath has seen massive investment in roads while a planned rail links is due to start construction soon.
