Located along the East coast of Ireland, County Wicklow is known as the Garden of Ireland due to the beauty of scenery and the largely untouched Wicklow Mountains. There is a combination of beautiful mountains, pure water streams and lakes on offer while also being a hill walkers paradise. The Wicklow Way offers a less extreme hiking experience which a series of long distance self guided walkways marked out.
Glendalough (Glen of the two Lakes) is without doubt the biggest tourist attraction in County Wicklow. On offer here are stunning views, walks, an interpretive center and a historic round tower. |
