The dust has settled on what turned out to be a fantastic tournament for golf fans. The European team managed to out drive and out putt their American opponents, and secure a famous victory after going ahead early in the tournament and holding the lead through Sunday with an 18 1/2 to 9 1/2 score. |

The tournament was played at the world famous K Club (Kildare Club) which offers a 5 star spa and golf resort. The course is a demanding challenge which was not made easier by the weather which proved to be a real mixed bag throughout. The course was designed by Arnold Palmer and is considered to be one of the finest golf courses in Ireland. |

Now that the dust has settled after a famous tournament, and Europe secured their second victory in a row, everybody can look back with fond memories of a terrific tournament in Ireland. |
